An Evaporation-Driven Engine Made Out Of Dried-Up Bacteria

This new bacteria-driven force of evaporation might be the coolest thing you see today. Scientists at Columbia University are placing millions of dried-up bacteria on pieces of paper. Once sprayed with water, they elongate, and as they evaporate they bend inwards, creating movement.
