Meet Alex Lenferna, one of the young climate campaigners to watch before the U.N.'s Paris Summit. He is a Fulbright and Mandela Rhodes scholar researching climate justice for a PhD at the University of Washington.
Originally from South Africa, Alex is an advocate for climate justice and is involved in Carbon Washington, an organization dedicated to environmental tax reform in the State of Washington in the form of a revenue neutral carbon tax swap. He also is a leader of Confronting Climate Change, a Seattle based student-group dedicated to the fight for climate justice, a volunteer for 350.org, and a supporter of Climate Citizens Lobby.
Young people all over the world prove that their generation is going to make a big difference when it comes to climate change. Be inspired by Alex and do your part by joining a movement against dirty energy and towards a clean climate.
